Employee Feature

In a display of discipline and passion for the work we do; Allysha Taylor has progressed from a role in project administration to Senior Project Manager at Watermark Constructions, inside two years.

Allysha, who came to us in 2019 from a background in civil construction and mining, has barely taken a breath in her desire to achieve her best.

Recently achieving her Low-rise Builders License at the completion of the company sponsored, Certificate IV in Building & Construction, Allysha was promoted to Senior Project Manager in November ‘21.

2020 saw Allysha take on the coordination of a large portfolio of residential repair projects in the wake of severe storms affecting homeowners across Springfield Lakes, Qld.

She had not long been appointed to the project management role, at that time and attests her success, to the team.

‘Whilst we are all very different, everyone at Watermark Constructions has supported me to be my best. With such a diverse team of amazing people, I’ve been encouraged to embrace who I am as a person, and given the freedom to develop my own style, making it work for me and the business’.

Whilst Allysha can be a hard task master, pushing herself and her team to firm deadlines, accepting nothing less than outstanding workmanship, and always providing exceptional customer service; she is quick to note ‘…we should never take ourselves too seriously’.

Friends and family are important to Allysha, and when not at work she can be found, just about anywhere, enjoying a sneaky beer.

Who we are as a business, is who we are as people.
