Our Commitment

As building specialists, Watermark Constructions is dedicated to producing quality outcomes across all our Insurance Repair and Commercial projects.

Watermark Constructions acknowledges and is committed to taking proactive actions in relation to ensuring that our Integrated Management System continually strives to deliver a quality service to all our customers and clients.  We recognise that everything we do in the day-to-day operation of our business could impact our desire to achieve the highest possible performance of this system.

Quality Management System Policy

The Quality Management System (QMS) model is based on the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.

The main aims of the QMS are to ensure customer satisfaction and to drive ongoing business management & quality system improvements, including increases in productivity and efficiency, whilst reducing wasteful activity through our continuous improvement processes and activities.

The Management Team will ensure that the system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001 and will continually improve the effectiveness of the QMS.

The QMS will provide a framework for establishing and reviewing measurable Quality Objectives, which will be embedded at relevant functions and levels within the Organisation.

The QMS Policy will ensure the system is effectively implemented by communicating the requirements and responsibilities clearly to all employees and ensuring relevant skills training is completed with appropriate quality awareness training.

The Management Team will ensure that the policy and procedures continue to be appropriate by initiating regular reviews to check ongoing effectiveness and relevance.

The Management Team will ensure that the system will monitor and measure all activities for conformity to required laws, regulations & standards.

There will be regular reviews of the needs and expectations of our customers & clients, and the system will initiate continuous improvement activities to meet these expectations whilst also improving general system performance.

The Management Team will ensure that the system records the sequence and interactions of all processes, and determine the criteria and methods needed to ensure the operation and control of these processes remain effective via the process of ongoing review.

Environmental Management System Policy

The Environmental Management System model is based on the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 14001.

The main aims of the EMS are to ensure compliance with legal and other requirements to ensure that the aspects of the activities, products, and services do not have undesirable environmental impacts.

The Management Team will ensure that the system complies with the requirements of ISO-14001 and will continually improve the effectiveness of the EMS whilst taking positive steps to prevent pollution of our Environment.

The Management Team undertakes to fulfill its legal, regulatory, community, and other duties by taking all reasonable and practical measures to prevent or minimise harm to the environment that may be caused by our Environmental Aspects.

The EMS will provide a framework for establishing and reviewing measurable Environmental Objectives & Targets, which will be used to achieve ongoing improvement in relation to our environmental aspects, impacts & performance. These will be documented as our objectives and targets in the Environmental Plan.

The Management Team will ensure that the policy and procedures continue to be appropriate by initiating regular reviews to check ongoing effectiveness and relevance, ensuring that the system is documented, implemented, and maintained.

The EMS Policy will ensure the system is effectively implemented by communicating the requirements and responsibilities clearly to all employees, and ensuring relevant skills training is completed with appropriate environmental awareness training.

There will be regular reviews of environmental needs, and the system will initiate continuous improvement activities to meet these needs whilst also improving general system performance.

The company also undertakes to notify the relevant authority in the event of a major environmental impact that causes harm or has the potential to cause harm, to the environment.

In implementing this policy, the Management team will engage with and support our employees, contractors, suppliers, customers, and host communities to share in the responsibility for meeting our environmental policy requirements.

Occupational Health & Safety Policy

The OH&S Management System (IMS) model is based on the requirements of the ISO 45001 standard.

The Management Team acknowledges and is committed to the provision of a work environment that is the safest that can be reasonably achieved such that the Health and Safety of all personnel on our site (employees or otherwise) are maintained to support a productive and profitable business.

The Management Team will set and monitor appropriate objectives and targets through the Management Review process to ensure continuous improvement of the system that will in turn aim to eliminate incidences of work-related injury and illness. This will also include a periodic review to ensure the policy and systems remain relevant and appropriate.

The Management Team will ensure that the system will monitor and measure all activities for conformity to required laws, regulations & standards.

All Policies, Processes, and Procedures relating to OH&S Management activities will be documented, implemented, and maintained. Relevant training will be provided to all personnel.

Where required, OH&S documents will be made available to interested parties.

The Management Team will ensure all of our Managers and Supervisors are aware of and accept their responsibilities and make a commitment to provide a safe work environment.

The Management Team will involve all employees in Workplace Health and
Safety issues through consultation and communication on ways they can contribute to identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace hazards. We will conduct regular inspections of the workplace, aimed at identifying and controlling hazards to prevent incidents from occurring.

The Management Team will ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors are aware of and accept their responsibility to provide a safe work environment by providing ongoing instruction, training, and supervision to improve understanding of workplace health & safety issues.

The Management Team will ensure appropriate workplace rehabilitation is made available to all injured or ill employees to facilitate their safe and early return to work.
