Our estimating team is a driving force behind what we do here at Watermark Constructions.

The leader of that team, Dayne Bragg, is nothing short of exceptional.

An accomplished roofer and tradesman, Dayne began his apprenticeship in 2002 and was off like a rocket, earning his stripes and eager to see where his trade could take him. Dayne’s experience to date is vast, having worked an array of amazing projects, including being on the ground during the recovery build for Cyclone Yasi in 2011.

Dayne’s initial vision of his career was not to be however, as he suffered a debilitating injury onsite in 2018.

During a grueling 2-year rehabilitation period Dayne became more determined than ever to get back on track, completing both a Diploma of Project Management and a Certificate IV in Building and Construction Management, with his sights firmly set on a career in estimating.

In 2020 Dayne triumphantly returned to industry in his first estimating role, before joining Watermark Constructions in 2021.

Watermark Constructions has experienced considerable growth since that time and Dayne has been integral to that process. Starting as a Junior Estimator, he exuded positive energy and capability, and in early 2022 Dayne became our Estimating Manager.

We have recently celebrated another milestone for Dayne, as he completed further education attaining a Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building).

At Watermark Constructions, our focus on mentorship and continuing education is at the core of who we are. Celebrating Dayne’s accomplishments is one of the reasons Dayne will tell you “... When Dayne is not thinking about building repairs, he is with his young family enjoying everything the Sunshine Coast lifestyle affords.
